Tonjiru (Miso soup with pork and vegetables)

INGREDIENTS
- 4 Tbsp – Sesame Oil
- 14 Oz – Pork Belly, Diced
- 9 Oz – Daikon Radish, Sliced
- 5 Oz – Konnyaku, Sliced
- 4 Oz – Burdock Root, Peeled And Shaved
- 4 Oz – Carrots, Peeled And Sliced
- 2 Qt – Water
- 2 Tbsp – Hondashi®
- 4 Oz – Miso
DIRECTIONS
1. Add sesame oil to a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add pork belly, daikon radish, konnyaku, burdock root, and carrot , saute for until the pork belly is cooked through.
3.Add water and Hondashi® and bring to a boil.
4.Reduce heat to low and simmer until vegetables are tender.
5.Add the miso and stir until dissolved and serve.
