INGREDIENTS
- 3 Go – Rice
- 4 Tbsp – Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp – Sugar
- 1½ Tsp – Seto no Honjio
- ½ Tsp – Hondashi Konbu Dashi
- 150g – Tuna (Sashimi)
- Little – Soy Sauce
- 1 Pc – Avocado
- 6 Pcs – Green Shiso Leaves (Cut in half vertically)
- 1 Pc – Green Leaf (Torn into 3 cm wide pieces)
- 4 Sheets – Grilled Nori (Seaweed)
DIRECTIONS
1. Cook the rice and transfer it to a large bowl. Mix the vinegar, sugar, Seto no Honjio, and Hondashi Konbu Dashi into the rice. Cover with a damp cloth and let sit for 5 minutes. Mix again, then divide the rice into 4 equal portions.
2. Cut the tuna into 1 cm square sticks and marinate in soy sauce for 5 minutes. Drain the excess soy sauce. Peel and remove the seed from the avocado, cutting it into 1 cm square sticks. Tear the green leaf into pieces and lightly crush them.
3. On a bamboo sushi mat, place a sheet of nori vertically. Spread 1 portion of the sushi rice evenly on the nori, leaving 1/5 of the top edge uncovered.
4. In the center of the rice, place shiso leaves, green leaf, tuna, and avocado in a checkered pattern, using 1/4 of the total amount. Roll the sushi tightly, aligning the bottom and top edges.
5. Repeat for the remaining rolls. Once finished, slice each roll into bite-sized pieces and serve.
